Why the bull and the torero?Comment by Govinda Dev Das:

"Your comic with the torero is very stupid. Because we as devotees would certainly side with the bull. It is a very tasteless analogy glorifying this barbaric "sport", were the the bull is mercylessly tortured and finnaly killed. These comic to me says the bull representing dharma is being killed by the adharmic ritvik philosophy of the torero.

Its really bad taste for a joke. Surely I know what you mean but this comic is just tasteless and even misguiding towards the point u want to make. I thought to point it out to help but if u wana keep it ... the better for the ones u wana discredit."

Reply to Govinda Dev Das:

Dear Govinda Dev Das, thank you very much for your concern. This "El-Torero-Picture" is just a comic joke, meant for getting your attention to read Srila Prabhupadas instructions given on this site.

You should not only look and comment on the torero-picture, but you should look and comment on the text, what Srila Prabhupada says to you. Why do you ignore Srila Prabhupada's instruction to you?

You don't know the story of Putana, the demon, disguising as a beautiful women, who just tried to poison Krishna? But Krishna killed her, by sucking out her life-force. Why don't you criticize Krishna, for killing woman?

Krishna kills the demoniac bull AristasuraDon't you know the story of Dhenukasura, Kesi and Aristasura? Kamsa is sending out demons to kill Krishna in various disguised forms as women, donkeys, horses, elephants, and bulls. Why don't you criticize Krishna, for killing a bull? Stupid is who?

This is your problem, you do not read Srila Prabhupada's unchanged books, therefore you deviate from Srila Prabhupada's instructions, attacking his movement and his sincere disciples. Why are you against Srila Prabhupada's instructions? Why do you follow self appointed bogus gurus with demoniac mentality, changing Prabhupada's books, perverting his movement? Why do you do this? Why do you insist on worshiping false gurus? The problem with you people, you rather like to follow self-appointed bogus Iskcon gurus (conditioned souls who fall down after some time) instead of taking shelter unto Srila Prabhupada, because you people have declared him dead? But those reason ill who tell that vaisnavas die, while they are still living in sound. They die to live and living spread the holy name around.

Perverted IskCon with its demoniac gurus might have disguised themselves as a bull (representing dharma), but Krishna personally is killing this (adharmic) demoniac bull as described in Krishna-Book. Please read the Krishna Book:

One demon named Ariṣṭāsura entered the village of Vṛndāvana in the shape of a huge bull with a gigantic body and horns, digging up the earth with his hooves. Ariṣṭāsura entered Vṛndāvana with such a fearful appearance that just on seeing this great demon, all the men and women were afflicted with great fear, and the cows and other animals fled the village.

"Kṛṣṇa then appeared before Ariṣṭāsura and said, "You are the lowest of living entities! Why are you frightening the inhabitants of Gokula? What will you gain by this action? If you have come to challenge My authority, then I am prepared to fight you." In this way, Kṛṣṇa challenged the demon, and the demon became very angry by the words of Kṛṣṇa. Kṛṣṇa stood before the bull, resting His hand on the shoulder of a friend. The bull began to proceed towards Kṛṣṇa in anger. Digging the earth with his hooves, Ariṣṭāsura lifted his tail, and it appeared that clouds were hovering about the tail. His eyes were reddish and moving in anger. Pointing his horns at Kṛṣṇa, he began to charge Him, just like the thunderbolt of Indra. But Kṛṣṇa immediately caught his horns and tossed him away, just as a gigantic elephant repels a small inimical elephant. Although the demon appeared to be very tired and although he was perspiring, he took courage and got up. Again he charged Kṛṣṇa with great force and anger. While rushing towards Kṛṣṇa, he breathed very heavily. Kṛṣṇa again caught his horns and immediately threw him on the ground, breaking his horns. Kṛṣṇa then began to kick his body, just as one squeezes a wet cloth on the ground. Being thus kicked by Kṛṣṇa, Ariṣṭāsura rolled over and began to move his legs violently. Bleeding and passing stool and urine, his eyes starting from their sockets, he passed to the kingdom of death.

The demigods in the celestial planets began to shower flowers on Kṛṣṇa for His wonderful achievements."

Kṛṣṇa was already the life and soul of the inhabitants of Vṛndāvana, and after killing this demon in the shape of a bull, everyone glorified him.

aKrishna kills the demoniac bull Aristasura
Kṛṣṇa kills the demoniac bull Ariṣṭāsura

So let's take a closer view of the comic picture again:

This torero on the picture is fighting against the bull, which is just angry about the red blanket, and stupidly attacking it, although there is no harm by a red blanket. The false ego of Iskcon gurus not following Srila Prabhupada's Ritvik order is just like a bull: of course sattvic and beyond that by its roots (because founded by Founder-Acharya Srila Prabhupada), but nowadays getting angry for no reason, because the red blanket won't harm the bull! Iskcon gurus' false ego is just attacking the Prabhudanugas for no other reason than trying to rectify this false ego, because a Prabhupadanuga is just trying to follow Srila Prabhupada and his orders, not more than this. This orders of Prabhupada were artificially made into a red blanket by bogus Iskcon gurus, also for their followers, and now the bull Iskcon is attacking this red blanket without thinking twice.

You are right: it seems to be barbaric having to deal with this Iskcon false ego bull by fighting, and it is tasteless that Iskcon false ego bull devotees are fighting against the Prabhupadanugas. But the false ego attitude of not following Srila Prabhupada's Ritvik order will be killed by this torero finally, because this Prabhupadanuga torero is more intelligent than the bull, by simply following Srila Prabhupada's orders, which is the natural duty of his disciples, and he will be victorious only by his intelligence, which will conquer even huge material strength.

Not following Prabhupada's orders is even more barbaric, by the way, because there is no more question of being a disciple, when you are not following his orders and thus have no discipline. Hello Iskcon gurus. Good bye guru parampara.

Disciples of Srila Prabhupada will always side with Srila Prabhupada, and will always counteract even attacs of (adharmic) bulls acting in rajas, tamas and ignorance, mislead by bogus Iskcon gurus and their false ego.

So the comic picture did indeed work for you and finally got your attention ;>

Now kindly read the information of this website and change your life for Prabhupada , kindly read Srila prabhupadas instructions unbiasedly, and with an open mind. You don't need to attack the red blanket, is actually meant to help you to further develop your Krishna consciousness by simply following Srila Prabhupada and his orders.

As Kamsa, Putana, Dhenukasura, Kesi, Aristasura and many other disguised demons where lastly killed by Krishna, so also will the demoniac elements within IskCon be killed by Krishna - Jay Sri Krishna - How many of your original 11 bogus are still alive?

The Mentality of Arishtasura type devotees/ gurus

From the episode of Krishna killing Arishtasura we can draw parallels between the demoniac mentality of Arishtasura (send by Kamsa) and the demoniac elements with in this Krishna Consciousness movement.

Krishna kills KamsaArishtasura/Kamsa mentality represents one of the very serious obstacles on the path of devotional service: the propensity to consider oneself higher than the spiritual master and deviating from his instructions.

Srila Prabhupada: "The GBC should all be the instructor gurus. I am the initiator guru, and you should be the instructor guru by teaching what I am teaching and doing what I am doing. This is not a title, but you must actually come to this platform. This is what I want." (Letter to Madhudvisa 4 Aug, 1975)

Srila Prabhupada: "I am the Spiritual Master of this institution, and ALL the members of the Society, they're supposed to be MY disciples. They follow the rules and regulations which I ask them to follow, and they are INITIATED BY ME spiritually" - (Srila Prabhupada Radio Interview, 12 March 1968, San Francisco)

Srila Prabhupada: As soon as you manufacture, fall down. This manufacturing idea is very, very dangerous in spiritual life. ...Our mission is to serve bhakta visesa and live with devotees. NOT THAT YOU TAKE THE PLACE OF GURU. THAT IS NONSENSE, VERY DANGEROUS. Then everything will be spoiled. As soon as you become AMBITIOUS to TAKE THE PLACE of GURU-gurusuh nara matih. That is MATERIAL DISEASE.

Srila Prabhupada: "There are many jealous people in the dress of Vaishnavas in this Krishna Consciousness movement, and they should be completely neglected. Bhaktivinoda Thakura says, Kali-cela. He indicates that there are other Vaishnavas, pseudo-Vaishnavas, with tilaka on their nose and kunti beads around their neck. Such a pseudo-Vaishnava associates with money and women and is jealous of successful Vaishnavas." (CC.Madhy.,Ch.1, Text 218 / 220, purport)

Some people say that there is one path and it doesn’t matter what God you worship, it doesn’t matter what deity you worship, because ultimately, I am God, you are God, and everything is God; you just somehow purify yourself by concentrating yourself, your attention on some kind of divinity, and you will become Bhagavan. Hundreds and millions of people in this world believe in this. And then when we tell them Krishna is God, that Bhakti is the real process, they criticize—what is this sectarianism? What is this close mindedness? What is all this austerities and renunciation you are talking about? You just worship any God, any demigod, it doesn’t matter. Bhakti Siddhanta Saraswati Thakur declared war against these misconceptions.

The spiritual Master, his books, sastra and our own realizations and experiences tell us that many kali-chela-miscreants in the garb of sannyasis and gurus are causing grief and hardships to countless devotees. They are intimidating and threatening the devotees to keep quiet and not to citicize them or they will throw you out and excommunicate you. Thereby heinously using twisted philosophy to put fear and doubts into your hearts.

But we sometimes tend to become affected by all this propaganda. Then it becomes very, very great obstacle in devotional service. We should therefore understand Srila Prabhupadas teachings in Srimad Bhagavatam:

"When the devotee has an interest or will different from the interest of the Supreme Lord, his mentality is that of a separatist. When the so-called devotee desires material enjoyment, without reference to the interest of the Supreme Lord, or he wants to become famous or opulent by utilizing the mercy or grace of the Supreme Lord, he is in the mode of passion." (SB 3.29.9 : PURPORT)

"The word pakhanda used in this verse is sometimes pronounced pasanda. Both of these words indicate an imposter who presents himself as a very religious person but in actuality is sinful. Indra took up the saffron-colored dress as a way of cheating others. This saffron dress has been misused by many imposters who present themselves as liberated persons or incarnations of God. In this way people are cheated." (SB 4.19.12 purport)

So we should not be mislaid by false propaganda.

Therefore Krishna says: Evam parampara praptam imam rajarsayo viduh, Sa kaleneha mahata yogo nastah parantapa (B.G. – 4.2) If we take the truth from a bonafide spiritual master in the disciplic succession of great acharyas, we then understand what is what.

"The Ācārya, the authorized representative of the Supreme Lord, establishes these principles, but when he disappears, things once again become disordered. The perfect disciples of the Ācārya try to relieve the situation by sincerely following the instructions of the spiritual master. Unfortunately, when the Ācārya disappears, rogues and non devotees take advantage and immediately begin to introduce unauthorized principles in the name of so-called svamis, yogis, philanthropists, welfare workers and so on."  (SB 4.28.48 purport)

"One should not accept a spiritual master without following his instructions. Nor should one accept a spiritual master just to make a fashionable show of spiritual life."  (NoI 5 : PURPORT)

So many people are dragged away from the process of devotional service, due to this type of association—represented by Arishtasura.

Kamsa worshipped Shiva, considered himself a very, very religious man, and he sent Arishtasura to promote his religiosity. What was the purpose? To kill Krishna. Similarly, all these Arishtasura immitation-gurus, who are preaching principles that are contrary to the teachings of Srila Prabhupada, they are coming to attack Krishna in our hearts. Therefore, we must defend ourselves by maintaining proper association, by understanding Srila Prabhupadas Ritvik-instruction, and ultimately by crying out to Krishna for help by chanting His holy name, "Hare Krishna Hare Krishna Krishna Krishna Hare Hare Hare Rama Hare Rama Rama Rama Hare Hare!"

"There are many pretenders who refuse to work in Krishna consciousness but make a show of meditation, while actually dwelling within the mind upon sense enjoyment. Such pretenders may also speak on dry philosophy in order to bluff sophisticated followers, but according to this verse these are the greatest cheaters. For sense enjoyment one can act in any capacity of the social order, but if one follows the rules and regulations of his particular status, he can make gradual progress in purifying his existence. But he who makes a show of being a yogi, while actually searching for the objects of sense gratification, must be called the greatest cheater, even though he sometimes speaks of philosophy. His knowledge has no value because the effects of such a sinful man's knowledge are taken away by the illusory energy of the Lord. Such a pretenders mind is always impure, and therefore his show of yogic meditation has no value whatsoever." (Bhagavad-gita As It Is 3.6 purport)

Because the pretenders did not seriously take to the process of Krishna consciousness, they were not purified of mundane desires and could therefore never taste the ecstasy and spiritual bliss experienced by sincere devotees. Instead they became envious of the sincere devotees, envious of Srila Prabhupada and envious of Krishna. These so-called devotees actually worked against Srila Prabhupada and his attempts to spread Krishna consciousness from within the movement. This was one of the symptoms of the Mayavada contamination which had been administered to ISKCON.

Putana demoness killed by KrishnaThe Putana type devotee mentality

In 1929 Srila Bhaktisiddhanta Saraswati wrote an article for The Harmonist entitled "Putana". Therein he compared the demoness Putana to a false or cheating guru and Kamsa to the materialistic head of a religious organization.

Putana is the first demon Kamsa sends to kill Krsna. She also represents the false guru. This has been explained by Bhaktivinoda Thakura in his book Caitanya Siksamrita, where he explains how the various demons Krsna kills in Vrindavan each represent various anarthas.

"Misplaced faith". A cruel fiend poses as a devoted nurse and is thus granted entrance to the room of a helpless newborn babe. Once inside, she manifests her real intention — to mercilessly kill the child by offering him her poison-coated breast. This is the false guru, Putana.

"Later when Nanda Maharaj had gone to Mathura to pay his taxes, he met Vasudeva. Vasudeva told Nanda Maharaja to get back to Gokul really soon to take care of his two children. Meanwhile Kamsa called for his allies to help him kill the child who would be the cause of his death. Many of them had great mystic powers. This was 5000 years ago before Kaliyuga set in. Mystic powers could either be used for the greatest good or to perform the most terrible deeds."

One of Kamsa’s allies was a Raksasi named Putana. She came to Gokul as a very beautiful lady. She was so beautiful that everyone mistook her to be a heavenly damsel or the goddess of fortune who had come to bless little Krishna. Her intent however, was to murder the baby. She had smeared her breasts with deadly poison that could kill hundreds of grown up men. Little Krishna began to suck her breast. He first sucked all the poison, then her milk and finally her very life air. Crying out in pain she assumed her original form, which was 12 miles long. Just to increase the experience of purification Krishna began to squeeze Putana with His tender little fingers. Experiencing agonizing pain, Putana tried to rip Krishna off, but Krishna stayed there and finally Putana fell to the ground dead. The Vrajvasis chopped her body into pieces and burnt them. The smoke coming from her burning body was extremely fragrant. This was because Krishna had sucked out her life air and purified her. Her body had become His mahaprasad. The Gopis then brought Krishna back to Yashoda mayi who showered Him with her love and affection.

This is Krishna’s love. He liberated Putana from her misdeeds. The pain she suffered, cleansed her of all her sins she had ever committed and all of her sinful tendencies as well. But because she had offered Krishna service as a mother, Krishna awakened motherly affection in her heart and gave her the position of a nurse in the spiritual world.

Bhakti Vinoda Thakura explains that the demons killed by Krishna represent different obstacles on the path of pure bhakti. Putana represents false cheating spiritual teachers or self-appointed bogus Gurus. Such teachers appear to be giving us all kinds of interesting knowledge. But their concoctions, speculations or vices are like the poison mixed with the milk. So we must be careful to receive transcendental knowledge only from the bonafide spiritual master Srila Prabhupada, by studying his original unchanged books and instructions.

Srila Prabhupada said in his Letter to Hamsaduta: "Regarding the poisonous effect in our Society, it is a fact and I know where from this poison tree has sprung up and how it affected practically the whole Society in a very dangerous form. But it does not matter. Prahlada Maharaja was administered poison, but it did not act. Similarly Lord Krsna and the Pandavas were administered poison and it did not act. I think in the same parampara system that the poison administered to our Society will not act if some of our students are as good as Prahlada Maharaja. I have therefore given the administrative power to the Governing Body Commission. (GBC) .... You are also one of the members of the GBC, so you can think over very deeply how to save the situation. It is a fact however that the great sinister movement is within our Society.  .... I have not heard anything from Krsna das or Syamasundara., so all of you may try to save the Society from this dangerous position." [Srila Prabhupada Letter to: Hamsaduta 2 September, 1970]

They will want to crush down this movement. So this will be up to Him. Krsna or Krsna's movement, the same thing. And Krsna was attempted to be killed by Kamsa class of men and his company, the demons. So it will be there; it is already there. Don't be disappointed, because that is the meaning that it is successful. Krsna's favor is there, because Krsna and Krsna's movement is not different, nondiff..., identical. So as Krsna was attempted to be killed, many, many years before He appeared... At eighth child, if the mother produces child yearly, still ten years, eight years before His birth, the mother was to be attempted to be killed. So there may be attempt like that. And Lord Jesus Christ was killed. So they may kill me also. [Srila Prabhupada Room Conversation, May 3, 1976, Honolulu]
